Recommendations for software for managing a small fleet? (8 cars and vans)

I'm helping a family friend who has a mixed fleet of vans and cars for their landscaping business. They've had some costly breakdowns recently and so they want to do a better job managing their fleet. I work in software so they've asked me to help recommend a fleet management platform (always fun being IT support for friends and family!). It's not my area, but I agreed to help as I thought it would be a quick google search. However, it seems like all the platforms I've found are targetted at much bigger busineeses with full time fleet managers.

So, can anyone recommend a platform/tool/app for tracking a small fleet that's good for a small business owner? Thanks for the help!
