Thinking of moving into EV/hybrid for the family car.

So I'm thinking it's time to make a change of car, my wife's car is a 2016 Kia Sorento 2.2 diesel. 7 seater jeep style car. We've 2 young kids and need the space. She has a commute of a little over 100km a day, with weekend drives/shopping often done in her car. What's out there? What do people recommend?
