Another older moc of mine, now over 10 years old apparently (jeez). Someone one of those whose lore I did keep around. Underneath a rewriting of it:

*After the fall of Teridax, Jastro and his team found themselves without a leader, adrift in a world that had only just begun to heal, Spherus Magna. The decision was made without much argument: they would part ways, each following their own path in the uncertain future ahead. Focused on giving the inhabitants of the planet (old and new) a better life.*

*Some remained within the growing walls of New Atero, choosing stability over wandering. Jastro (and Gatra a like) was not among them.*

*Instead, he turned his gaze outward to the scattered settlements that clung to survival beyond the city gates. There, where danger was constant and protection scarce, he found his purpose.*

*In time, he rebuild himself. Gone was the tactical warrior he was forced to be during Teridax's Reign. In his place stood something more deliberate, more symbolic. He reforged his armor into a knightly image, adorning it with gleaming gold that caught the light from miles away. It was no vanity that drove him, but intention. If he was seen, if he drew the eye, then others might pass unnoticed. Caravans of Matoran and Agori could move in safety while danger fixed itself upon him.*

*And so he became a guardian not just in deed, but in presence, a shining lure in a harsh and unforgiving land.*

*And so, years passed.*

*From the wastes, a new Skrall empire began to rise, its shadow stretching steadily toward the vulnerable villages Jastro had sworn to defend. Raids grew bolder. Attacks more frequent. And still, he stood against them, an unyielding barrier between destruction and those who could not defend themselves.*

*But then came the rumors.*

*Whispers carried between traders and refugees spoke of something hidden deep within the forests of Bota Magna. A forgotten laboratory of the Great Beings, unearthed after ages of silence. Within it, they said, lay technology that mirrored the functions of the Red Star itself.*

*Such stories alone would not have been enough to draw Jastro away from his duty. But the whispers did not end there.*

*They spoke, too, of a group of Matoran moving in secrecy, said to be former members of the Nynrah Ghosts. And of what they had accomplished within that ancient place.*

*They had brought back a Toa of Fire.*

*Not just any Toa. His former leader.*

On why he's a male toa of Psionics, I think the original reasoning was that he was one of the earlier Ce-matoran made before the change (similar to Orde). But let's be real, child me wanted to be special.

Hope you all enjoy and see you in a few months when I remember to post the next one!
