TKO and Creative Team shoot at each other?

I read somewhere that Pat McAfee’s return and promo were actually a direct order from TKO, not the creative team. If that’s true, then Pat’s words might reflect what TKO really thinks about the current creative direction, blaming them for the low ticket sales and the overall direction with Cody Rhodes at the top.

Now it feels like the creative team fired back by sending CM Punk out there to shoot at TKO, basically saying the problem isn’t the product, it’s the ticket prices. They even took shots at The Rock, which makes me think Rock and the creative team weren’t exactly on the same page either.

While most of us side with the creative team that ticket prices are the real issue, we also can’t completely ignore TKO’s point, they might have a valid concern. The current direction of the product is upsetting, and Cody Rhodes being the sole top guy is worrying. The creative team needs to properly rebuild the divisions again. We can have five top guys at once instead of just one. In the past, Triple H, Undertaker, Batista, Cena, Edge, Jericho, Orton, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, and Kane were all top stars rotating in the title picture. Now it feels like it’s just Cody, while the rest was like in a limbo without any clear direction.
