Should I ask out my friend who rejected me 6 years ago?
I did post this last night but something weird happened where it just stopped being visible. And I couldn’t see any replies if there even were any.
Call my friend Lexi. I no longer fit the criteria for which she rejected me.
Six years ago, Lexi and I (both of us were 24) met and we clicked fast. We got along super well. Better than I got along with most people period, I was shocked. I was a virgin then and kissless, but I asked Lexi out after knowing her for three years. Lexi rejected me for being inexperienced, even though we knew each other for three whole years. She soon after found a dude.
I then set out to make sure that wouldn’t happen again. I found someone new at age 29 (call her Melanie) who was a serial cheater/ hardcore gold-digger type. Basically the type of woman men are hounded on to leave no matter what. I stayed with her for a year and three months just to collect experience from her, and recently left her. I believe I’ve learned a lot from Melanie even though she did most of her kissing/sex with other men. This woman is gone, forever.
I looked up Lexi and she’s single again. I’m wondering if I could try asking her out again now that I dated this last horrible woman (Melanie) and obtained experience with kissing and sex. Is it a good idea?
