We all know that Jeff is mostly seen as a throw pick, and it’s definitely not because of his healing. He has a high healing output and a very good kit overall; however, what kills this hero is his Ultimate. Whenever I’m playing and see a Jeff on my team—specifically on "Defend the Convoy"—I feel like defeat is guaranteed. This is due to the lack of "Ult value" when going up against heroes like Invis + C&D, Gambit, or Rocket. His Ultimate is by far the worst support Ult in the game for two main reasons:

1. High Risk, Low Reward

The Ultimate leaves you incredibly vulnerable. If you don't manage to swallow anyone, your death is almost guaranteed—and because nearly every hero has an escape skill, that happens quite often. Even when you do swallow someone, you remain at risk because the rest of the enemy team will pursue you until you're dead. Furthermore, it is very situational; often, you can't even reach a ledge in time to spit the enemy out.

2. The Healing Pond

The pond is ridiculously small, and the healing output is negligible compared to any other support Ultimate. While Jeff is ulting, that pond is supposed to compensate for the absence of a primary healer, but it fails to do so. Every time Jeff ults, it feels like the second healer has to work twice as hard to keep the team alive.

Final Thought: In my opinion, the developers need to buff the healing pond to make Jeff viable and prevent him from being seen as a throw pick.

We have to talk about how bad Jeff's ult is!
