Aitah for walking down the isle with “another woman”
I was the best man at my brother’s wedding. The way they had the opening set up was that the bridesmaid got paired with a groomsmen to walk down the isle arms crossed together.
I didn’t think it was going to be an issue so i went along with the plans as this is what my brother wanted and planned with his wife. To be clear, i do not know the bridesmaid i got paired with. We only got introduced during the ceremony and interacted for the entrance part, that is it. I never interacted or talked with her at all throughout the wedding and i am not even in touch with her, it was a quick walk down the isle, nothing more. As i was walking down the isle, i can tell by my wife’s face that she did not like it. She was eyeing the girl up and down and throughout the reception, she kept giving that bridesmaid the “stink eye”. I can tell by her mood she had a miserable time at the wedding because of that quick walk down the isle. I will also add that my brother and his wife also wanted to do a slow bride/groom dance along with the grooms and bridesmaids joining in by slow dancing with who they were paired with walking down the isle-that part i refused knowing my wife. But i honestly did not think walking down the isle for a quick moment was going to be an issue or a fight. If i had known it was, i would have told my brother id feel more comfortable walking on the isle alone. I refused to participate in the once slow dance because i know my wife
When i finally addressed the isle walking with my wife, all she said was that i should have known better and said something. Aitah for not telling my brother id rather walk down the isle alone? Again, i didn’t know it was going to be an issue, i already refused to participate in the dance because is know my wife, but i didnt think a walk down the isle would be so harmful
