Allah and his word.

Muslims. Can you explain this to me?

Allah creates through his word.

His word participates in creation. What is the nature of Allah's word? Do they have the same nature?

I posit that Islam misunderstands the Trinity, and that the Trinity is a better model for God philosophically than Tawhid. My reasoning is that God must have perfect self knowledge and self love, and he must not be able to gain or lose anything to his essence.

God is loving

Love is inherently relational.

If God is one person, he can only love created beings because there is no other to love.

therefore relational love would be something new and apply a change to God.

So God has to have relational love subsistent within his divine essence. The Trinity solves this problem.
