When to seal marble tile ?

Hi, when are we supposed to seal marble tile? I’ve been sealing it after installation but before grout. I’m assuming that’s the wrong move, because the grout is still staining it. Are people sealing it before they even install the tile? I’m using Floor & Decor’s BulletProof Sealer, which is supposed to be the best.
