Experiences with cosmetic breast surgery

Hello everyone!! 👋🏽

📌 I have a few questions for anyone who has had implants, lift, augmentation, reduction, etc.

  1. What was your procedure and what was your recovery time?

  2. Are you happy with your results? If not, what would you do differently?

  3. What are things you wish somebody had told you in general or specifically about your procedure?

  4. What were some things that made you comfortable/skeptical when picking a surgeon?

FOR IMPLANTS

5.1. If your body rejected the implants what happened after?

5.2. If you had them removed after some time what was that like?

💡Please feel free to add your own questions, these are just the one that came to mind 😊

🎀 I (26F) had accident that let me to lose some weight, I went from a 38DD to a 36D—not a huge change by any means. My issue isn’t with the size of my breasts, but with sagging. I was “happy” with my DDs and am still “happy” with my Ds. My goal with surgery would be perkier breasts while ideally maintaining a D/DD cup size (though I would consider losing a cup size if implants aren’t an option for me). I am 4’11” and 155 lbs, so I believe anything bigger than a DD wouldn’t be flattering anyway.

⚠️ Due to how much my breasts sag, it gets in the way of the clothing I want to wear (if it requires more than a T-shirt or sports bra)

⚠️ When using boob tape or sticky bras, the skin around my breasts (especially the top/side near the armpit) makes it nearly impossible to use those products. The skin protrudes/overflows so much where the tape starts that I feel like I have to tape from the middle of my back and use hundreds of pieces, which defeats the purpose. I end up feeling like Mulan, and it just looks bad overall.

⚠️ I have a small torso (not abnormal, just proportional to my height/body), and when I try to use only nipple covers, my breasts sag enough that it just doesn’t look good.

🥼 I have YET to seek a plastic surgeon because; I plan to have kids, want to save for this.

👥 I only know two people who have had cosmetic breast surgery, so I’d really like to hear more experiences and opinions.

Person 1: Had a breast reduction/lift (no implants), went from a G cup to DD, and said their breasts started sagging again significantly around the 2-year mark.

Person 2: Has had implants since 2008 (sized up to DD). They believe a lift + implant combo gives the best results (they are not a medical professional—just their opinion). They feel that with just a lift, breasts may start sagging again over time (if that makes sense).

🗣️Thank you all for taking the time to read/respond, I look forward to reading about your experiences 😊
