Fridge Freezing Food Even When "Off" - Possessed?
Long story short, I am hoping one of you beautiful people can save me $1,000+.
We have a Samsung RT21M6213WW/AA that keeps freezing everything in our fridge...even when the fridge is turned off.
What I have done:
-
- Cleaned the condenser and fans/everything in the back (I keep up on this regularly)
-
- Defrosted the freezer - the freezer evaporator was iced over, so I got it fully defrosted.
-
- Defrosted the refrigerator evaporator that was iced over, but much less than the freezer (one of the wires was also pulled out of the refrigerator evap fan, so I fixed the pins and got her back to running)
-
- Now here is the kicker, ran great for about 3 days and then kept getting colder and colder. I set it lower and lower (less cold) and it just keeps getting colder.
-
- Fully turned fridge to the "off setting" on the control panel, and left it over night. Woke up this morning and it's colder than a yeti's taint.
What is my problem here? Freezer Damper? Bad seal? Temp sensor? The fridge has 2 temp sensors and I can't for the life of me figure out which one I would need.
Thank you so much! Will legit buy Reddit gold for anyone that can help me fix this demon.
