Is Eldlich still viable in 2026? Or should I go with Branded Despia?

Hi everyone!

I recently played against the Eldlich deck in Solo Mode and fell in love with the mechanics and the card art. The "Golden Lord" aesthetic is just top-tier.

However, I’m a bit worried about spending my gems. Is Eldlich still able to hold its own in the current meta, or will I just get stomped in Platinum/Diamond? Also, for those who play it: is the gameplay loop actually fun in the long run, or does it get repetitive?

I’ve also been recommended Branded Despia. I haven't looked into it much yet, but aesthetically I still prefer the zombies. Should I follow my heart or go for the "stronger" meta pick?
