Working with Kenyan Clients.

I find it very hard working with Kenyan clients when building them a website , app or even editing a video for them.

I usually face three problems which are low-pay , micro-management and lack of organized information.

In the end I usually do discovery for free and tell them to look for a developer.

I am fortunate enough to have lived abroad so my clients are not Kenyan.

The sad thing is most people do not even sit down , make a word document or presentation before approaching a professional to help them. They want the professional to do the ground work. The funny thing most are very rich compared to International clients but they still want to pay peanuts.

I respect all of you who are able to work with such people but I also understand that sometimes we need money and we have to endure bad communication , micro-management and low-pay.

I hope you meet a client who has does not have at least two of these bad qualities.

I can really understand low payment but I really detest micro-management and terrible communication / organization.
