Read the doc, watched the vids and seen ppl talking about the situation. Going to share my words. Everything what I say can be true or not and repeated but I want to heavily discuss this and spread awareness. Please do not go harass any mentioned or shown people in here.

>!**1.** Real or not, it is fucking gross and mostly unforgivable to make something worrying a complete joke and be rude towards other people who are concerned and give out reasons why epilepsy mode needs to be a thing. It really shows how these developers in the DBF server treat serious situations and other people. At least the staff gave a shit and nagged you to add epilepsy mode, this could been ALL fucking avoided if you just listened to them and respect the poor members who had that condition.!<

>>!**And Yabba is right, even if Kit “isn’t real”, the dismissiveness the dev team has shown towards the death of a person caused by a negligent update is beyond fucked up.**!<

>!**2.** People dragging their friends or family members into a hyped roblox update is common and non-serious. But, when you're going to release an update and it has obvious photosensitivity, ADD TRIGGER WARNINGS OR A SETTING FEATURE THAT TURNS OFF PHOTOSENSITIVITY. Croccerz, Ory and many other epileptic people in the DBF server had asked to tone it down or just like what I said, add warnings or a setting that turns the flashing shit off. Francis, one of the staff members in the DBF server had also asked this and it WAS noticed but it was ignored. Of course not every epileptic person would get triggered by flashing lights as there's other triggers for epilepsy but flashing lights is one of them and it's serious.!<

>>!**They also knew 100% because they confirm that Francis tried to get an implementation of an epilepsy mode, but apparently it didn’t go through? So far it seems that the release of 1x not having an epilepsy mode is a sign of negligence.** !<

>!**Either way, this is pretty bad, and just goes to show that the developers do not care about safety. Francis trying to get the epilepsy mode in beforehand moreso shows negligence on the developer side, and not nearly as much on the staff-side**!<

>!**It was clear before 1x’s release that there were problems with flashing lights causing people distress, sickness, nausea, the like. The fact that an epileptic says this themselves should have been enough to make the staff and developers realize that maybe they can hold off the update for upwards of a week to keep the community safer, but as we will see later, this was not the case.**!<

>!**3.** Kit did not saw or had been aware the game's extreme photosensitivity and lack of care for warnings AS she was introduced to the game which caused victim blaming. Victim blaming is selfish, brainwashing and diabolical and it should never be seen as a good thing. One of Kit's friends, Mel, said that she died in the emergency room and I would say this is not Mel's fault because the developers KNEW this dumbass update would cause health hazards and risks and decided to ignore it and not put warnings or a setting feature. Another thing is that was all before 1x got released and threads existed that STAFF could easily view, the two might not seen the showcase of the character and wanted to jump into the content. Once again, I would say this is not Mel's fault and I completely understand their aggressiveness to the people who shifted the blame from the disgusting developers to their DEAD FRIEND.!<

>>!**In addition, this update was so hyped that of course friends would drag other friends in to try the game for the first time alongside them. This is common for Roblox games in general, especially if said friend knows nothing about new content. It is possible the two avoided any showcases of the character so they could enjoy the new content fresh from the tap.**!<

>!**Kit clearly knew nothing about the game, having an epilepsy warning and having an epilepsy setting, if not making that the default, should be considered a default setting due to this. The obvious victim-blaming towards Kit is insane.**!<

>!**4.** Mel does not need to show proof of Kit being hospitalized, that would be super graphic and personal. Even If they messaged you the proof you would 100% forward that stuff and make jokes about it in the DBF server. It's legal in places to take pictures of someone being hospitalized UNLESS you're a healthcare provider because it's for hospital privacy rights and existing consent.!<

>>!**Asking for proof of an epileptic in the hospital is so stupid. “Ah yes, let me try to get a grip with my convulsing uncontrollable body and grab my phone to take a picture of me in the hospital”**!<

>!**They started to ask for proof again, of somebody who was epileptic and now dead? How is a dead person going to show proof of their existence? Plus this feels very disrespectful towards Kit, as well.**!<

>!**5.** After the whole situation gained more concern and awareness and the developers doing a awful job making the flash toggle in the "fixed" update, the developers accused people in the DBF server of making a problem that's "no one problems" into a whole everyones problem when it was just fucking criticism and concerns for Kit. This led to them pathetically locking down all channels and shushing people if they dare to bring it up. There's no purpose of owning a ruined asymmetric server if you're gonna have EVERY channel in lock-down and shush people. The situation is fresh like goddamn bread so of course people are gonna be discussing it in gcs, servers, server channels and YOUR server channels that members have freedom to speak in there. No empathy or care for Kit and Mel at all bro.!<

>>!**This led to some of the team accusing people of making a problem that’s “no one’s problem” everyone’s problem, when it was all simply criticism regarding their response to Kit. They even threatened to lock down channels for… guess what… criticism, under the guise of “harassment”. Cool.**!<

>!**After locking down the server, they started trying to get people to stop talking about the situation, which is another sign that they just do not care. They want to move on as quickly as possible to try and sweep this under the rug now, it would seem.**!<

>!**They started to ask for proof again, of somebody who was epileptic and now dead? How is a dead person going to show proof of their existence? Plus this feels very disrespectful towards Kit.**!<

This whole situation was so fucking disgusting and heartbreaking, I had to. I hope everyone who was treated negatively or had been affected by that server would recover and comfort themselves. I wish the best for dear Mel as they went through something so fucking traumatic and tried to support their friend only for them to have their story be brushed off and made fun of from egoistical losers. Rest in peace for dear Kit and please do not play and support DBF and do not support and praise their team.

⚠️ Long rant abt DBF situation,,
