Best way to invest PKR 2 million in Al Meezan mutual funds for long-term (10+ years)?
Hey everyone,
I’m planning to invest around PKR 2 million (20 lakh) in mutual funds through Al Meezan Investments and would really appreciate some guidance from experienced investors here.
My goal is long-term investment (10+ years), so I’m looking to build a solid portfolio rather than short-term gains.
A few specific questions I have:
- Should I go for low, medium, or high-risk funds considering a 10-year horizon?
- Is it better to invest the full amount at once or do monthly/quarterly investments (DCA)?
- Which specific funds would you recommend within Al Meezan? (e.g., equity, income, balanced, etc.)
- How would you personally allocate 20 lakh across different funds?
I’m open to taking some risk since my horizon is long, but I still want a balanced and well-thought-out strategy.
Would really appreciate if you could share:
- Your personal allocation strategy
- Fund suggestions
- Any mistakes to avoid
Thanks in advance! 🙌
