Need suggestions for solo budget trip in June – Prefer hostels (from Mumbai)

I'm a solo traveler (mid-20s, male) from Mumbai planning my first proper solo trip in June 2026. I want to keep it super budget-friendly and would strongly prefer staying in hostels (dorms) to meet other travelers and keep costs low.

Key requirements:

Destination for June (monsoon season in many places)

Budget-friendly overall (low daily costs)

Good for solo travelers – safe, social vibe, easy to explore alone or with others

Mix of nature/adventure/chill – open to beaches, hills, or peaceful spots

I'm flexible on the exact place. Open to anywhere in India or even nearby countries if it's still budget (flights + stay).

My rough budget expectation:

Hostel dorm: ₹500-1000per night max

Food & local transport: ₹500-800 per day

Total on-ground (excluding travel from Mumbai): under ₹10,000–12,000 for 6-8 days

Please suggest good destinations + why they work well in June for solo budget travelers.
