What happened to Brits in EU-centric professions after Brexit?

I am an EU citizen trying to break into conference interpreting. The EU is (by far) the main employer of conference interpreters in Europe and conference interpreting training programs in the continent are overwhelmingly designed with the EU institutions in mind.

I imagine there are a few other niche professions that are extremely EU-centric. I also imagine there were quite a lot of Brits in those professions. What happened to them after Brexit? Were they able to continue working in those professions? Have certain professions become basically off-limits to Brits, as they don’t have EU citizenship anymore? Or has Brexit not had much of an effect?
