Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a workflow I've developed for sports apparel and promotional item production in Adobe Illustrator. It uses a custom ExtendScript to handle complex batch jobs where standard Data Merge usually falls short.

In the attached video, you can see it processing a CSV file across multiple artboards (sizes) simultaneously. Here are a few key challenges it solves:

* **Graphic Numbering & Dynamic Logo Placement:** Instead of standard fonts, it can replace digits with custom vector symbols. It also automatically places and scales sponsor logos *inside* the numbers based on an "Intelligent Dynamic Scaling" reference field (e.g., matching the font size of size M and proportionally scaling for XL).
* **Optional Graphics (Conditional Graphics):** It reads a specific column in the CSV to automatically show/hide specific sponsor logos on the front of the jersey for each player.
* **Manual Diacritics (The Glyph Fixer):** If a client insists on a font that lacks Central European or specific accents (like ř, š, ž, or ü), the script reconstructs them automatically using vector symbols at precise offsets.
* **Advanced Imposition:** For smaller items (like keychains or tags), you can use specific artboard tags (`-donotexport` and `-donotoverwrite`) to automatically gang-run multiple personalized items onto a single final print sheet.

I’ve made a **free demo version** (limited to 30 runs / 20 CSV rows) along with English sample templates and CSV data, so you can test the exact workflow from the video on your own machine.

For those of you doing high-volume teamwear—how do you currently handle varying sponsors and broken fonts in Illustrator?

*(Note: To respect the sub's rules against self-promotion, the link to the demo and technical manual is in my profile bio!)*
