personality or something else??

i’ve had this cat since she was about 2 months old! love her to bits. she’s pretty quiet never meows for food never meows in general unless she does that thing where she ‘catches’ something and wants to show me.

other than us being a 7 person house she’s always just doing her own thing and doesn’t appear stressed, eats normally gets treats the whole thing she is SPOILED. she’s strictly indoors too

guys when i tell you this cat genuinely feels bipolar sometimes i MEAN IT. she’s not a lap cat at all, she barely sits next to anyone, starts yelling whenever anyone carries her and hissing at any strangers and EVEN ME SOMETIMES. she plays a lot, doesn’t like being petted and also doesn’t like closed doors. she very rarely purrs, she does have instances where she’s sunbathing and purring on my bed but like i said those are RARE.

she is five years old now and still the exact same..i gen don’t know why she’s like this so if anyone has any thoughts pls lmk! i was prompted writing this after she hissed at me just for picking her up and holding her for a few seconds…idk what’s up w her :((
