TDK’s tiny audio-line filter is doing more than just killing RF noise
TDK has released a new ultra-small EMI filter for audio lines in compact wireless hardware. Once Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular activity are all crowding the same enclosure, a part like this stops behaving like a quiet background component and starts shaping what the audio path can tolerate. That feels especially relevant in phones, earbuds, and wearables where the spacing is already gone. At what point does the filter become part of the signal-path behavior rather than just protection around it?
