The Three Goddesses Give Their Steepest Uphills To Their Strongest Soldiers (a.k.a Global got dealt a much worse hand than Japan for Falco's Umadol event)
As we know, Falco's Umadol event is currently ongoing and our projections based on current fan rates have been lagging quite a bit behind the 2 trillion fans needed to earn the SSR ticket. Not to mention that the challenge of surpassing 3.3 trillion fans Japan set seems impossible. Let me also tell you that the game was rigged from the start.
Now obviously a lot of us are dealing with the fact that an event built on grinding for fans on the most time consuming scenario is occurring specifically during weekdays during education or work, which means we can't really contribute too much to the effort. This issue was not faced as significantly by Japan, as they had this event during a weekend from April 1st to 4th in 2022. This strongly suggests that the original event's numbers and such were calibrated on this to being a weekend grind, not a midweek event like Cygames gave global. I included a tweet from the time period from a Twitter account below as proof.
Regardless of whether we manage to hit the original goal or not (pending Cygames interference such as fan count adjustment or mysterious fans teleporting in maybe), just know that the global player base is facing much more of an uphill and a potential triumph will be so much sweeter.
TL;DR: Cygames pushed us into hard mode since the original Umadol event was likely built for weekend grinding
