Sister needs urgent surgery in Dubai

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for help for my sister (Filipina), who is currently in Dubai and scheduled for urgent surgery this Friday.

She has been diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst (around 16 cm) that needs to be removed. Her surgery is scheduled this coming Friday.

She is currently unemployed after her company closed down, and her basic insurance has not approved coverage. She is also unable to return home to the Philippines at this time due to tensions in the Middle East and the urgency of her case.

The total cost for the surgery and hospital care is around 52,000 AED (~€13,000), which is far beyond what we can manage.

We realize we could have started earlier with charities or public hospitals, but it’s too late to do that without additional waiting. Our priority is to get the surgery done this Friday so she can start recovering.
