Question for the Dataminers

As someone who has no idea about the wonderful world of datamining, i really wonder: Can dataminers actually rule out, that lifeless models like the >giant snake near Pleasance< or >manbearpig< can somehow be „activated"? Wouldn‘t that be the best way to hide such easter eggs, right in front of our eyes, so no one gets suspicious when they find the models in the files?
