Are you addicted to your phones as a result of your aspergers?
I am guy M17 and have diagnosed aspergers and am also a full blown phone addict. I use it as a cope for not having many friends, by at least seeing you people online. I choose to think to not have many friends because hardly anyone ever texts me or likes being by me. So instead I waste hours on instagram and reddit seeing stuff about my special interests and becoming a complete stereotype of them hobbies , in order to hide my old nerdy personality, that kinda is still me. I love the goth community and 80s music and poetry and cemeteries and genealogy research that lasted nearly a year as my special interests but I still feel like I got attached to them because I just wanted to become interesting for people who like such stuff and I kinda feel like a poser. I just liked how goths looked like and I like goth very much. I just liked poetry girls and now I like poetry and so on. It is due to mr online seeing that stuff and becoming addicted to it. Do you have similar streams of thoughts or share same problems? Thanks for the read.
