Needing advice about first BMW

Good morning.

Needing some advice from you guys. I am interested in this BMW S1000r for commuting to work and traveling. What's your guys thoughts on the price and the bike?

From reading about these bikes everything seems great, apart from the fact you cant properly out a rack and topbox on it sadly. I seen you can use the seat but then no pillion... real shame.
