Anyone else familiar with Watership Down?

I was introduced to it (it features rabbits predominantly as its cast) because of drawings I had made as a schoolboy that evidently looked to various viewers like rabbits. Ironically enough, these drawings did not have lapine faces or short, fluffy tails. They had long tails and were actually based on sugar gliders.
