Hard work finally paying off
I've been stuck at 28 hcp over the winter after picking up golf at the end of last summer. Originally being given a 30hcp and going up as high as 34 and getting down to a 28 just before Winter. Played winter leagues and got a lesson, its been going well but due to placing ruling over winter none of the scores submitted affected my handicap.
Played the open competition knowing the scores would be submitted to golf ireland to see where i might be at. First time yesterday breaking 100 at St. Margarets in a competitive setting, scoring 37pts and coming off feeling positive but still feeling I left some shots out there. Wake up this morning and I've been deducted another 4 shots. 24.1hcp. Feels like the work I've been putting in has payed off. Feels fucking fantastic. Cannot wait to get back out this weekend and shoot 120, score 4pts and eat some humble golf pie. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
