Help with bugs/spider on Air India flight.

Hey I am in some need of some help.

My father flew air India from Colombo to Toronto With a transfer in New Delhi a few days ago. The day after getting off the plane he had some problems with his leg, he has been admitted to hospital in Toronto. Originally he thought he had twisted his ankle, but after a day his leg swelled up and is blistering, and he has some organ issues It’s looking like he may of been bit by a spider or bug but it is fairly serious. We are trying to figure out what could have caused this.

Does anyone know of any experts in this area or knowledge about insects or spiders that may cause something like this to happen.

Any help is appreciated, we just want him to get better.
