Just purchased and having a bad experience. Would it have more uses for me or refund?

Help

specs:

GPU: 1650 super

CPU: Ryzen 5 3500x

Ram: 16gb 3200mhz

old 75hz monitor

My pc is old and I know i can still squeeze a few more years into it

I've been playing through the spiderman games (the modern releases) and I'm currently playing spiderman 2. spiderman1 and miles morales were an okay experience (1080p, low to med settings, no FSR: 50-70fps)

but spiderman 2 is chugging. on 1080p, all low (except some shadow settings to medium-ish) FSR balanced, it's fluctuating between 20 and 50fps.

i also have been looking into this and watched a lot of videos about it. They say that FG is NOT useful if you're struggling to get 60fps.

Anyways, I bought it and said to myself I could just refund it if it doesn't work well.

So on spiderman 2, 2x FG looks bad. my base FPS of 50 will go down to 30, and then generate into 60. It becomes an input-delayed blurry mess

swinging around is a bit better but microsutters kinda feel worse when FG is on

so, refund or keep? If I keep it, what other stuff can I do with this app?

Are there specific settings to change to help with my setup? (i just use the default settings like 2x fg, no scaling, 50 flow, 2 max frame latency and 2 queue target)
