The trades that hurt me the most weren’t bad… they were just ‘okay’
Hey,
One thing I’ve realized after going back through a bunch of my trades:
The ones that did the most damage weren’t the obviously bad ones.
Those are easy to avoid.
It was the “okay” trades.
The ones where:
- structure kind of made sense
- levels were “close enough”
- I could justify it if I thought about it for 10 seconds
In the moment, they feel fine.
But looking back, there’s almost always something slightly off.
And those add up way more than one big mistake.
Lately I’ve been trying to be stricter with that:
if it’s not clear, I just leave it.
Feels boring sometimes, but results are way cleaner.
Curious if you guys see the same thing:
are your losses more from bad trades… or from “almost good” ones?
