Babysitting after babies bed time

My baby will be 7 months next month and I’m in a mountain biking club that runs 6-8 pm twice a week.

My mother in law will watch him at her house he’s very used to her.

My concern is him going down for sleep at his normal bed time 7-8 and then being woken up to come home.

Thoughts on doing this frequently?

(she cannot come to my home)
