the job market is set up for you to fail

trust me after spending years in this hell hole of a job market you quickly realise that it is not set up in a way for you to gain but only for you to lose.

you start off eager and willing to do jobs that pay fair wages then you realise those jobs never hire you so you slowly decrease your standards more and more until your on minimum wage settling for zero hour contracts and no benefits.

this is what companies want to happen. they don’t want people who are going to demand high wages and expect to be treated fairly oh no. they much prefer people who will do anything to be employed and will lower their standards so much where they won’t even question if they are getting treated unfairly or if they are being paid less than they are worth.

if it was truly fair system it wouldn’t take 600 applications just to get a minimum wage job.
