Lost in the robot vacuum world! Help an EU/Czech shopper spend €500 wisely.
Alright, guys, here’s the deal: I’ll start by saying that this subreddit is awesome and there’s a ton of great advice and information here. So much so that I’ve gotten to the point where my opinions on which robot vacuum to buy are starting to be overly influenced, and I’m getting more and more confused.
Usually, when it comes to electronics (e.g., choosing a TV, earbuds, everything related to PCs and peripherals, etc.), I’m able to reach a place where I’m satisfied and can pick the exact product that’s right for my needs.
But here, even after a long time, I haven’t gotten to that place, and to make a long story short—I don’t know.
Please help:
I need a vacuum cleaner for my apartment, which has 2 rooms with PVC/vinyl flooring, 1 larger room with long wooden plank flooring where there are gaps of almost a centimeter between the planks that are also about a centimeter deep, and a kitchen and bathroom with ceramic tile. We’re planning to get a smaller dog that won’t shed as much.
- It must also mop (rotary mops),
- Ability to handle corners as well as possible,
- A larger smart docking station,
- The best possible app with mapping, the ability to turn it on from anywhere (e.g., from work), push notifications, and other useful features that I don’t even know I need but are great and YOU have experience with
- Self-cleaning, self-emptying—basically smarter than I am when it comes to cleaning
- Ideally, it shouldn’t be too tall, since it’ll have to squeeze under various things (I’m intentionally not specifying a maximum height),
EUROPE !!!!! (I'm from the Czech Republic)
BUDGET: around €500, ideally less (as with everything in life)
Example of an offer from a local online store: I can get the Eufy RoboVac X10 Pro Omni for €490 (Is that a good deal?)
