Why no one wants to pick first in ranked?

I'm new to ranked, i usually play adventure mode

But resentry i have been playing some ranked games and almost every game no matter what role i chose, there is someone wants me to take their position to pick first

Why?

I get it for supp and jungle role, but why other roles?
