So I've been having this problem for a while with my screen whenever I play any game and its starting to worry me, the game im currently playing is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019. Every 5-10 minutes of gameplay, my game always does this and becomes entirely unplayable i always have to quit it, and most of the time I have to use Task Manager to shut it down because it completely freezes the game.

My current components of my pc are

Gtx 1080 8gb

Intel i7-6700K

16gb DDR4 ram

and the monitor im currently playing on is a 100hz msi monitor im not sure the exact model of it.

im pretty sure its just really bad screen tearing? But I've never seen a problem like this anywhere? i have updated my drivers to the latest versions and sometimes even rolled back and the current driver version i am on is 556.12 which is stable for other games like siege, roblox and rocket league.

ive watched many tutorials to try and solve this problem but none of them work whatsover, i turned and turned off v-sync to see if stuff helped but nothing at all. im not sure if its a hardware issue because this never happened a few months ago, i cleaned my pc, removed as much dust possible but the same thing keeps happening and its really bugging me.

if anyone knows whats up with my pc please let me know how to fix it ASAP

i need help ASAP
