Despite the doomerism, most high level exam scores are going up and its exceedingly more difficult to get into an grad school program because the talent pool is growing
MCAT, LSAT, GRE scores have all risen in recent years. What was previously a 95 percentile on the MCAT a few years ago is now a 91 percentile. Similarly situation with the LSAT and GRE. The MCAT is not an exam that is easy or has been made easy, its widely considered a very difficult exam. It is hardcore scientific application and critical thinking and analysis, cannot be bullshitted in any sense. Students are actually getting smarter and better at it. The talent pool for really difficult critical analysis and scientific understanding is actually growing, not shrinking. On the one hand, this is good for society, on the other, it's much much harder for a student to get into an professional degree program now than it was in prior years.
We need to build more professional schools.
