UVA Computer Engineering

Hey everyone! I’m planning to major in Computer Engineering, and I just wanted to hear how it actually is from people in the program.

I’ve heard computer engineering can feel like a “master of none” since it mixes hardware and software, so I’m a little worried about that. I did hear UVA allows you to specialize more though. Also, would minoring in CS actually help for software jobs, or is it not really needed?

Lastly, how is recruiting overall, do CE students usually get good internship/job opportunities (Nvidia, Amazon, etc) if they put in the work?
