Are Oversized T-Shirts Really Comfortable Or Just Trendy?

I am going to my cousin’s wardrobe yesterday. I see an oversized t-shirt hanging on the rack. It look big and soft. I touch the fabric and it feel smooth but a little heavy. I feel curious because it look simple but maybe really good for casual wear or relaxing at home. One sleeve is little loose.

I am thinking why oversized t-shirts are popular now. People don’t just wear tight or normal shirts anymore. I feel curious because some t-shirts feel soft and comfy but some shrink or lose shape fast. Maybe material and stitching matter more than color. It make me wonder if all oversized t-shirts are same or some are really better for comfort and style.

I take my phone and start checking while scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba. I see oversized t-shirts in many colors and designs. Some small some very big. Some simple some with extra prints, patterns, or pockets. Some light some heavy. I read few reviews where people say some t-shirts feel soft and last long others shrink or stretch fast. It feel like picking right one really matter if you want comfy and stylish t-shirt.

Now I am thinking which oversized t-shirt is really better for daily wear or lounging? Are simple soft ones more useful or big fancy ones with prints and designs better choice?
