Ben's parents' reaction to him being a hero doesn't make sense given he could have ended up an Anodite
In Allen Force when Ben's parents find out he's an alien superhero they're heavily against it and even ground him because they think he's wrong for trying to be a hero. Yes this was an overreaction on their part, and it had stemmed from them being worried for Ben's safety, but it doesn't really make any sense.
Even though Ben and Gwen never knew their heritage with Grandma Verdona, their parents did. Verdona herself even says she last stopped by when the grandkids were born to check and see if they had Anodite powers. Now technically yes they showed to not have any at first, but Gwen ended up having them later on which meant that there was always the possibility Ben did as well. And if Gwen's parents always knew the day their daughter might have powers could always end up a reality, why didn't Ben's? Even though he never developed Anodite powers, he did have the Omnitrix, which just simply gave him different types of powers. His parents should still have prepared that one day their son might show powers of some kind, even if not the kind they were expecting.
I find it hard to believe that Gwen's parents knew of Verdona and the Anodite heritage but not Ben's. So him having the Omnitrix shouldn't have had them that shocked and confused on how to handle Ben, nor to overreact like that, since it's basically the same situation they SHOULD have been ready for, just different powers. Yet they weren't.
