Elder traits

I just dont understand do i always develop an elder trait no matter how healthy my character is? Is it that weird that one out of 4 herculean pure blooded characters lives to 65 in perfectly good health without getting fucking helzheimer??? I really like the mechanic but i just feel like theyre too common
