Temporary ceasefire... what happens to oil and utilities?

I’ve been following the news about the Iran–Israel situation and the short-term ceasefire around the Strait of Hormuz.

I’m wondering how something like this affects oil prices... and if that actually trickles down to things like electricity or heating bills.

Do utilities usually pass on the cost quickly, or does it take a while for these shocks to hit consumers?
