Maharana Pratap serial plotholes
This serial was so good with strong cast and acting, beautiful aesthetics and music along with good tracks. But still some things don't sit right:
-
First Kunwar Shakti and his brother and later Rani SajjaBai disappeared without trace. Kunwsr Shakti made a reentry later as an adult but others weren't given a closure. I may have missed something tho.
-
During the marriage and separation track, they blamed Ajabde for Ranisa's sanyas and grown Pratap even took oath to not contact her but after Bijolia war, it was like everyone forgot the blame game played on Ajabde and even Ranisa never made attempt to relieve her of the convict. Even after her re-entry, they never addressed that part.

As talented as we perceive and the serial presented Kunwar Pratap, why he always was ready to bow down for Dheerbai. For a fact, we can accept Rana Udai Singh being lenient towards his beloved most beautiful and young wife, but why Kunwar Pratap always refused to distrust or take action against her.
There was a scene during Gauna ceremony where Maankanwar told him about the scheme to kill Ajabde but he dumbly told a great mother love story to say mother's can't do this. He even said he would give his life for this stepmother. She wasn't even his own mother and he tended to believe her more than his own mother and wife among others.
I can't put my finger on why makers came up with such dumb character trope for Pratap. That time was about the fight of half brothers for power so Pratap definitely had not been in ideal situation anyways. Even Akbar turned against Bairam and Maham after seeing their true colors in both this and Jodha Akbar.
So, how come Maharana Pratap was shown so dumb simp for a stepmother? (never saw this in any other historical/mytho serial)
Also, the love story track was really good, both childhood and adulthood. This childhood love story is one of the best in itv and didn't even come under Grey area of Child marriage. Are there other similar love stories with similar pain and butterflies as their childhood one?
