"What episode does this character get hit by a bus?"

Whenever someone on Instagram (or any other social media page) posts a clip of a show and somebody who's never seen it before asks whether or not the character is going to die a gruesome death.....it's getting so old now.

I get disliking a character or their actions, but seriously come up with a better way to express it.
