DJ Equipment Question

Hey everyone,

I’m still pretty novice when it comes to tuning and processing PA systems, so I’d really appreciate some advice.

My current setup is:

•	2 JBL SRX835P

•	1 JBL PRX635

•	1 Yorkville LS801P

•	Behringer Ultragraph Pro FBQ3102HD 31-band EQ

I’ve been considering getting a dbx DriveRack 260, but I’m wondering if it would actually make a big difference compared to just using my current 31-band EQ.

From what I understand, the DriveRack already has EQ built in, but it also seems like a lot of people recommend it more for speaker protection, crossover control, limiting, and overall system tuning rather than just EQ alone.

My main goal is:

•	Not to damage or blow my speakers

•	Get the system playing as clean, crisp, and loud as possible

•	Learn how to get the best and safest performance out of my setup

So I guess my questions are:

1.	Would a DriveRack 260 make a noticeable difference with my setup?

2.	Is it worth getting if I already have a 31-band EQ?

3.	Would it actually help protect my speakers and make the system sound better?

4.	How would you guys run / tune this setup properly?
