Physically painful being away from them
My previous post goes more into detail about this, but 2 of my friends recently set the boundary that they need a break from me. I only recently got my diagnosis and i dont really know how to navigate this… In my experience a “break” is an easy way of letting me go without sounding harsh. I want to respect this boundary that they set because they have every right to be uncomfortable with me. it literally feels like i have this gaping void in my stomach and im really trying to distract myself from it but everything i try to do just reminds me of them. I know it probably seems weird to be this attached to friends but thats just how ive always been and they never seemed to have a problem with it before. I have some of their belongings with me and im wondering if thats a good starting place to try to get back into contact with them… if yes then when should i do that? if no then what is? Im scared of just waiting for them because what if they never come back?
