Bywater to East Carrollton

Hey guys,

So I’m moving to nola soon to attend tulane, and I’m likely living near oak / maple st area.

After looking into the scenes around town it seems like there are many bars in Bywater that I’d like to frequent. Only thing is its pretty far from East Carrollton.

I’m just wondering what you guys suggest in terms of getting back home after a night out there. Uber is the obvious answer, but I’m kind of hoping I won’t have to uber the whole way because it’s pretty pricey.

I was thinking something like Uber to get to a St Charles streetcar stop, then take the streetcar the rest of the way there. Does that sound reasonable? Too sketchy late at night? Appreciate any advice. Thanks
