32 weeks and BP is already up

I had my 32 week appointment today and I’ve had a bad headache since Sunday. When they took my blood pressure after multiple attempts, it was consistently running 148/98. The doctor told me that if it was running high again at my next appointment in two weeks that we would go ahead and schedule an induction for 37 weeks. She also said if at any point my blood pressure gets to be 150/110 to go straight to the hospital or if over the next week it’s consistently running 140/90+ to call the office.

I’ve had preeclampsia with previous pregnancies, but it usually did not occur until 37 weeks or later. Does anybody else have any experience with this? I also have no previous history, outside of pregnancy, of high blood pressure and my baseline is typically under 120/60ish.
