Why does my husband's therapist wants to see me individually?

My husband and I started marriage counseling at the end of last year. I decided to that I wanted a divorce about 2 months ago due to emotional and financial abuse. When we told our counselor about our divorce, he suggested that he see my husband individually and he started sessions then. Today that counselor reached out and wants an individual session with me. What does that mean? I want to hear what he has to say, but I don't want him to influence me to delay the divorce.
