I have a question about three king inheritance arc

Why didn't the righteous path gu immortal came to the mountains 🏔️ and finish all the demonic gu masters such that it will be easy for righteous path to claim the inheritance.Like the Hu Blessed land in central Continent. I meant super force of southern region could come to a alliance to not let demonic path get stronger.
