Gender-based super power cliche
The inclusion of a trans character was cool; it adds to Vanya's history of loneliness, and I liked how none of the siblings made a big deal about it. They just heard it and respected it and moved on - the right response. That felt very instructive for viewers in a good way.
But giving incredible strength to a male character and the destructive power of gossip ("I heard a rumor...") to a female character is totally cliche. Just saying... How about an incredibly strong woman? We have She Hulk in the superhero canon, so it's not such out-of-the-box thinking. And how about something other than cattiness for the lone female character's (Alison) power? I know, I know...she got additional powers later, but still.
